Get to Know Your Counselor
Who has had the greatest influence on your life?
The leaders I had at my church growing up definitely had the biggest influence on my life growing up. They sat with me in the painful moments and the joyful ones and always redirected me to Jesus. I still replay the encouragement they gave me when I was a teenager on a daily basis when I am in a hard moment.
What was the greatest lesson you learned in college?
God wants my whole, messy, honest self. Not a performance.
Where do you hang out in Los Angeles?
I live in Orange County so I spend most of my time there, but my fav LA spots have to be:
- Griffith Observatory
- The Beachwood Cafe (yes, the Harry Styles one)
- Camel Coffee
- The Last Bookstore
What are your favorite places on campus?
- Lower Talbot East is my favorite reading spot
- The Fluor Fountain of Faith (the best place to run into people)
- The Caf (when they are serving my favorite dish, Curry)
