Matt Heim is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has practiced in the field for three years. He has also worked for 10 years in family law with seven years as a practicing attorney. He serves as Associate Clinical Director for the Center for Individual and Family Therapy (CIFT). Professor Heim's clinical focus is on marriage and couples therapy, parenting issues and co-parenting for divorced parents, minors of divorced or blended families, legal and ethical training of therapists, and spiritual warfare in the clinical frame. His research interests include spirituality and mental health integration as well as legal and ethical mental health practice.
