Gentleness and respect are clearly taught, modeled and commanded in Scripture. We can鈥檛 opt out for pragmatic reasons. The real question we should be asking ourselves is, 鈥淗ave we become moral relativists when it comes to biblical teaching about gentleness?鈥 Moral relativism doesn鈥檛 reject biblical teaching out of hand, just when it is inconvenient or unhelpful in reaching a desired outcome.
