Talbot School of Theology鈥檚 extension site at Kyiv Theological Seminary in Kyiv, Ukraine, celebrated its 10-year anniversary on June 10. Talbot staff, faculty and administration, including Talbot Dean Clinton E. Arnold attended the celebration with alumni and current students. Close to 70 people were in attendance for the celebration鈥檚 conference and time of worship, giving thanks to God for his abundant blessings on Talbot鈥檚 efforts to develop disciples in Eurasia.

In light of ongoing military conflict and political and economic challenges facing Ukraine, the conference鈥檚 theme was 鈥淟eadership in a Time of Crisis.鈥 Dean Arnold opened the event by sharing greetings and congratulatory remarks from Biola president, Barry H. Corey, and delivered a message on 鈥淭aking Perspective in a Time of Crisis.鈥 Judy TenElshof, Talbot professor of Christian ministry and leadership, also gave a talk titled, 鈥淪ecure Relationships for Facing Crises.鈥 Talbot alumnus Eric Oldenburg (鈥95, M.A. 鈥02) closed the conference with a message on 鈥淔acing Crises Like Jesus.鈥

God continues using Talbot to further his mission and kingdom in regions facing major crises 鈥 a cause for celebration and thanksgiving.
