黑料历史鈥檚 鈥楻ed Book鈥 was the guest of honor on Friday, January 15, 2010 at the Annual Affirmation of the Biola Articles of Faith.
Biola鈥檚 25 Board of Trustees reaffirmed their commitment to the school鈥檚 mission during the public ceremonial signing held in Calvary Chapel. In the past, the 鈥楻ed Book鈥 has been signed annually in December by the Board of Trustees at a private meeting, but for the second year Biola has made the signing open to the Biola community. Over the last 81 years Biola鈥檚 leaders, such as Louis Talbot, Charles Fuller, Lula Stewart and founder T.C. Horton, have all added their signature to the book as a symbol of their affirmation of Biola鈥檚 values and their commitment to the University鈥檚 mission.
Staff, faculty and students were invited to attend this public ceremony in an effort to include the Biola community in this fundamental moment to uphold Biola in its deepest convictions.
This year was memorable to Board member Damoi Park as it was his last time signing the book since he is stepping down from service.
Damoi said to the Whittier Daily News, "I look forward to supporting the university in any way I can and continuing to be an ambassador."
